IS/IT Learning Academy – End-to-end redesign of the learning ecosystem

Context

Internal learning ecosystem for IS/IT teams, bringing together multiple learning channels, formats, and audiences. The academy had grown organically over time, resulting in fragmented experiences, inconsistent structures, and limited visibility across the full learning offer.

Problem

Users had difficulty understanding the overall structure of the academy, identifying relevant content, and navigating between learning formats. The ecosystem lacked a clear information architecture and coherent learning paths aligned with user needs.

Objectives

• Clarify the global structure of the Learning Academy
• Build coherent learning paths across channels and formats
• Improve content discoverability and orientation
• Align the ecosystem with both user needs and internal constraints
• Support bilingual usage in French and English

Approach

• Audit of all existing learning channels and content
• External benchmarking of learning platforms
• Definition of interview and usability testing protocols
• User interviews conducted in French and English
• Co-creation workshops with IS/IT stakeholders
• Redesign of the global information architecture
• Structuring of learning paths and navigation principles
• Low-fidelity wireframes and flowcharts
• High-fidelity prototypes aligned with the Quantum Design System
• Usability testing with diverse user profiles
• Research synthesis and recommendations
• Implementation follow-up on Bealink

Design Decisions

• Shift from content-based organization to user-centric learning paths
• Clear separation between discovery, learning, and progression phases
• Consistent terminology and structure across all channels
• Strong alignment with the existing design system
• Scalable architecture designed to support future content growth

Outcomes

• Clear and shared vision of the Learning Academy ecosystem
• More readable and coherent learning journeys
• Improved orientation and decision-making for learners
• Qualitative validation through usability testing

Role

Product Designer / User research, interviews, workshops facilitation, information architecture, learning paths design, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, design system alignment
